After Careaux, PUMA goes Dutch again! For SS17 PUMA linked up with Amsterdam based streetwear brand Daily Paper to release a global collection. Since 2010, Daily Paper has been making waves in the streetwear game with no signs of slowing down. Inspired by the brand’s African heritage and a passion for contemporary fashion, Daily Paper molded themselves into a well-respected creator of authentic ready-to-wear garments. No doubt this was a perfect fit with PUMA! For the release of this African cricket-inspired footwear and apparel collection we co-organized the global launch event with Headfirst and Daily Paper. Kult&Ace was responsible for strategic advice, invites and registration, all PR-related activities (press release, interviews, etc.) plus press and influencer guidance during the day.
With a lot of attending global and national VIP press/guests, we started the day with a presentation and tour curated by Daily Paper at Tropenmuseum to show where the boys from Daily Paper get a lot of their inspiration from. All attendees had pancakes for lunch at MOOK, Daily Paper’s favorite meeting spot, before joining the official release moment and Q&A at Daily Paper store. Of course we also had to throw a ‘lil party. After a great and cozy dinner at Raïnaraï, all VIP guest got escorted to The Loft in Adam Toren for the official release party. Over 400 people attended the party with great music, drinks, a lot of friends and a mayor line in front of the guestlist.
